Qualifications:

• Certified health educator from DOH
• Certified registered nurse
• Certified pump trainer, Omnipod DASH, Medtronic minimed 780, Accucheck Solo pumps
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Fatima College of Health Sciences affiliated with Grifith University
•  

Experience:

• Has more than 15yrs clinical experience and she worked in several well-known hospitals and facilities in Abu Dhabi
• Since 2019, worked in the field of diabetes as a certified diabetes educator nurse
• Provides diabetes self-management for all types of diabetes including diabetes in pregnancy , DAFNE (diet adjusted for normal eating), and use of all kinds of diabetes treatments including injectable and oral agents
• Deals with & teaches patients how to initiate and use up to date diabetes technologies like continuous glucose monitors and insulin infusion pumps
• Adjust insulin doses, according to continuous glucose monitor, glucometer, or pump data
• Teaches patients with overweight or obesity how to use weight loss injections

• Gestational diabetes (diabetes in pregnancy)
