SOCIAL MEDIA USE POLICY
About this Policy
This policy, which is part of our Terms of Use, outs the way in which United Eastern Medical Services LLC (UEMedical), HealthPlus Medical Services LLC and their subsidiaries such as but not limited to “Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women & Children LLC, Danat Al Emarat Clinic for Women & Children LLC, HealthPlus Diabetes & Endocrinology Center LLC, HealthPlus Family Health Center LLC (Al Forsan, Al Bandar and Saadiyat) and HealthPlus Women’s Health Center LLC and HealthPlus Fertility Centers in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Jeddah” (“we”, “us” and “our”) will collect and process information that you provide to us or which we collect from you via our websites/social media platforms. By visiting any of our social media platforms, you are accepting and consenting to this policy and the Terms of Use.
Policy Statement
- This policy is addressed to users of UEMedical different social media sites (including, without limitation Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google+, Instagram) as well as UEMedical employees. Users shall be respectful of the larger community by complying with the terms and policies of this policy and social media hosts policies. By using any of our channels, you indicate that you accept these terms and agree to abide by them. These terms at any time may be amended. By accessing any of our social media channels, you accept, without limitation or qualification, the following terms of use. The opinions and or views expressed by users on our social media channels represent the thoughts of individual users, and not UEMedical or any of its subsidiaries. The content we post on our social media platforms is intended to be general in nature and should not be viewed as a substitute for professional advice or a consultation.
- Users of our social media channels are encouraged to contribute with comments that are respectful, and users shall avoid making comments that might be considered confrontational, offensive, discriminatory, profane, off-topic, spam (i.e., unsolicited promotion of a third-party business), mis privacy-leading and fake, abusive or hurtful to any other user, includes personal attacks or defamatory content, or violates privacy of patients or others, or breaches applicable laws.
- UEMedical reserves the right to remove comments or content on all our social media sites that fit into any one of the above categories, or for any other reason, to preserve the integrity of our social media sites. We may block further posting on our social media sites by any individual who violates this Privacy Policy.
- UEMedical employees should adhere to our internal policy available on our share folder and policy manager: DOC. REF.: UEMEDICAL-CCM-CP; Version 1.0 – OCTOBER 2018 for social media use.
- Users must be at least 18 years old to post or comment on any content on any Social Media Site.
- Users are prohibited to post any content (text or images or videos) that are personal health information on any of our Social Media platforms. Users are also not allowed to use our platforms in providing medical advice or medical commentary or having a medical conversation with any of our other users.
- By posting any content on any of our Social Media Site publicly or by tagging us publicly, you grant to us the irrevocable right to repost, distribute, publish, display the content and the right to create derivative works from your content, edit or modify such content and use such content on our platforms or presentations or printed materials.
- You agree that any claim or dispute relating to your posting of any content on any of our Social Media Sites on the internet shall be construed in accordance with the laws in UAE.
Changes to the Policy
We may update our Social Media Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
