Dr. Jawaria Shuja

Dr. Shuja has more than 20 years of experience as a General Practitioner with a special interest in Family Medicine. Prior to joining HealthPlus, Dr. Shuja worked at Health Life Clinic, Oman, as a General Practitioner.

Dr. Shuja’s scope of practice covers preventive care, patient care planning, patient assessments, test result interpretation, medication administration, management of acute and chronic diseases, diabetes and nutrition education, obesity management, women and children healthcare, small surgical procedure, addressing patients concerns appropriately, and staff coaching.

Dr. Shuja earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2003 from the University of Karachi, Pakistan, and completed her internship training in medicine and surgery at Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center, Pakistan.
