Dr. Maaz Babiker is our Consultant Nephrologist at HealthPlus Diabetes & Endocrinology Center & Imperial College London Diabetes & Endocrine Centre with nine years of extensive experience in renal medicine. Having served as a Renal and Acute Medicine Consultant in University Hospitals Birmingham in the United Kingdom, Dr. Babiker has extensive experience in treating complex renal conditions. His primary focus revolves around offering patients sustainable treatment options, reflecting his passion for enhancing their quality of life.

Dr. Babiker embarked on his medical journey after earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Khartoum, Sudan. He is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians and holds a Specialty Certificate in Nephrology from the Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom. He has also been awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (UK). He is a member of the UK Kidney Association and the American Society of Nephrology.

His area of expertise encompasses chronic kidney disease (CKD) and advanced CKD, renal transplant, various dialysis modalities such as haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, hypertension, diabetic renal disease, cardio-renal syndrome, renal vasculitis, Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) and glomerulonephritis.
