What are the signs to look out for?
- If the woman has an irregular period, which means ovulation may not be occurring.
- If the woman underwent pelvic surgery (to ovaries, tubes or appendix), or pelvic infection which may have damaged the fallopian tubes.
- If the woman is over 35 years of age.
- If the woman is known to have medical conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, PCOS, ovarian cysts or other conditions.
- If the man underwent genital surgery, infection or significant trauma.
