What are the signs to look out for?

  • If the woman has an irregular period, which means ovulation may not be occurring.
  • If the woman underwent pelvic surgery (to ovaries, tubes or appendix), or pelvic infection which may have damaged the fallopian tubes.
  • If the woman is over 35 years of age.
  • If the woman is known to have medical conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, PCOS, ovarian cysts or other conditions.
  • If the man underwent genital surgery, infection or significant trauma.
