Dr. Jose Polo is our Family Medicine Specialist at HealthPlus Family Clinic in Al Bandar, Al Raha Beach. Dr. Jose provides comprehensive healthcare for people of all ages. In addition to diagnosing and treating illness, he provides preventive care (including routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunization and screening tests), and personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. He also manages chronic illness, often coordinating care provided by other subspecialists. In 2013, after completing the Family Medicine Residency Program, he started to work as a Family Medicine Specialist in health centers and hospitals of the Spanish National Health System. Dr. Jose moved to United Arab Emirates in 2017. He worked as a Family Medicine Specialist in many reputable medical organizations in UAE.
Dr. Jose studied Medicine at the University of Navarra, Spain. After finishing the degree in Medicine, he did Family Medicine Residency Program. As part of the 4-year Family Medicine Residency Program he received training in: pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, psychiatry, neurology, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, cardiology, geriatrics, emergency medicine, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, rheumatology, palliative medicine, urology, pulmonology, orthopedics and rehabilitation medicine.
