During their newborn period, children need several clinic visits to check for neonatal complications, nutritional status and growth. We understand many families have a support system consisting of the baby's grandparents and other extended family members. However, the pediatrician should remain as the main source of scientific, evidence-based information.

Parents can see the pediatrician to get answers about caring for their baby, from feeding, sleeping to bowel movements and bathing. For children below 3 years old, several clinic visits are necessary, even if your child seems healthy. From 3 years old onwards, an annual clinic visit is recommended. These visits help to monitor your child’s health, growth, and development, as well as to provide vaccinations. Whenever your child is ill or there are complaints that may indicate a medical problem, we recommend you to pay the pediatrician a visit.
